Bread with Tomato - Pan con tomate
Ingredients
- 4 thick slices country bread, toasted and still hot
- 1 large garlic clove, halved
- Good quality extra virgin olive oil
- 1 large tomato, halved crosswise
Preparation
- Rub bread with garlic halves.
- Drizzle slices with oil, and sprinkle with salt.
- Rub tomato, cut side down, on toasted bread, generously squeezing insides out as you go.
- Sprinkle with additional salt. Top with additional salt and slices of tomatoes if desired.
